Help Center

Everything on pom.gallery is designed to be self-serve - you never need to wait on anyone. This page walks through exactly how to do each thing. If something here doesn't match what you're seeing, start from your dashboard and it'll usually point you the rest of the way.

Creating your gallery

Go to pom.gallery/create and you'll be guided through six short steps: names, privacy, theme, photos, your link, and a final review before paying. Nothing is charged until the last step, and you can preview your gallery exactly as guests will see it before you pay.

1

Enter both names and, optionally, your event date.

2

Choose public (anyone with the link) or private (password-protected, free either way).

3

Pick a theme - you can preview each one and change it later, anytime.

4

Upload your hero photo and gallery photos (JPEG or PNG, up to 40MB each).

5

Choose your link, e.g. pom.gallery/yourname - you can also change this later.

6

Review everything, add your email (for your receipt and gallery link), and pay.

Your gallery goes live automatically the moment payment completes - typically within a few seconds. If you close the tab right after paying, don't worry: a confirmation email with your link is on its way regardless.

If you leave partway through without paying, your draft is kept for a few days in case you come back, then automatically cleaned up.

Lost the tab after clicking “pay” but before finishing? Go to pom.gallery/manage and sign in with the email you entered at checkout - your unfinished gallery will be there with a “Resume checkout” button, exactly as you left it.

Signing in & your dashboard

There's no password to remember for your account. Go to pom.gallery/manage, enter the email you used at checkout, and we'll email you a sign-in link.

1

The emailed link is valid for 15 minutes.

2

Clicking it signs you in for 30 days - no need to request a new link each visit.

3

Your dashboard lists every gallery tied to that email, with a “Manage” button into each one.

If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check spam, or try requesting it again.

Editing a live gallery

From your dashboard, click “Manage” on a gallery to open its settings page - names, date, photo credit, privacy, theme, photos, hero image, and your link are all right there, each with its own Save button. No wizard to step back through - change just the one thing you came for, and it goes live immediately, with no re-payment.

Passwords & privacy

Private galleries are password-protected at no extra cost. From your gallery's Manage page, use the “Privacy” section to switch between public and private, or set a new password - guests will need it the next time they visit.

Adding more photos

Every gallery includes up to 500 photos. If you go over that after your gallery is already live, you'll see a prompt right in the photo uploader to add another 100 photos for $5 - it's a one-click purchase, and uploading continues immediately after.

Custom domains

You can point your own domain (like ourwedding.com) at your gallery for a one-time $19, either at checkout or anytime afterward from your gallery's Manage page under “Add a custom domain.”

1

After purchasing, you'll land on a setup page with the exact DNS records to add.

2

Add those records at whichever company you registered your domain with (not pom.gallery).

3

DNS changes usually take effect within an hour. Your domain-status page updates automatically once it's verified - no need to check back manually, we'll also email you.

Your gallery stays reachable at pom.gallery/yourname either way, even after a custom domain connects.

Changing your account email

From your gallery's Manage page, under “Account email,” enter the new address and submit. We'll send a confirmation link to the new address - clicking it finalizes the change. This confirms you actually control the new inbox before your sign-in email changes, so nobody else can redirect access to your gallery.

Refunds

Within 7 days of paying, you can refund yourself in full from your gallery's Manage page - no need to explain why. This takes your gallery offline immediately and refunds your payment, typically appearing on your statement within 5–10 business days.

Past 7 days, self-serve refunds aren't available. If you no longer want your gallery live, see Deleting your gallery below - that's self-serve at any time, though it doesn't refund your payment.

Deleting your gallery

From your gallery's Manage page, choose “Delete this gallery,” then type your gallery's link to confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes the gallery and every photo in it - there is no undo. This is separate from a refund: deleting does not process one, and refunding does not delete your photos (it only takes the gallery offline within the refund window).

Downloading photos (for guests)

Anyone viewing a gallery can download individual photos or the whole gallery as a zip, choosing either the original high-resolution files or a smaller web-friendly size - no account or sign-in needed, just the gallery's own link (and password, if it's private).

Troubleshooting

I didn't get an email. Check spam first. Sign-in and confirmation emails only go to the exact address used at checkout - if you're not sure which one that was, try the addresses you might have used at pom.gallery/manage.

My sign-in link expired. Links are only valid for 15 minutes. Just request a new one - there's no limit on how many times you can do this.

My custom domain still isn't connecting. Double check the exact DNS records on your domain-status page match what you added at your registrar - a typo in the record type or value is the most common cause. DNS can occasionally take longer than an hour to propagate depending on your registrar.

I forgot my gallery's password (as a guest). Passwords are set by the couple who created the gallery - ask them directly, or if it's your own gallery, set a new one from the “Privacy” section of your Manage page.
